Alexandra Whitbeck is awarded the Press Club of Long Island’s Robert W. Greene Public Service Award Small Market for her article ‘Children and the Opioid Crisis’ in part of a series published on The Long Island Advocate about the opioid epidemic on Long Island. This award was given to the series as a whole, where Whitbeck was a contributing reporter.
